Dekker 2026 Mock Draft 1.0

I didn’t even know if I would have had the time to put out a mock draft or two before the official one begins next week!

Nonetheless, I wanted to make sure my followers had the chance to see what I think happens in the 2026 Draft. It is pretty unheard of to see that there’s only one QB picked in the first round. I don’t see any other QB getting their name called early due to the looming 2027 QB class; there is not much incentive to invest a high draft pick on a developmental quarterback when you could find your team still at the bottom of the standings in a year.

Sadiq going to New Orleans isn’t something I like as a Falcons fan, but I think that Kellen Moore might really like to have an insane athlete at Tight End to create mismatches for opponents.

Two running backs in round one is pretty common, but the biggest surprise in my prediction mock draft is that they are both from the same school and were teammates for the last two seasons. Love going to the Titans at 4th overall seems like a high probibility at this point, but Price going to Houston at 28th might turn some heads as well.
