Seltzr Guy Six-Pack: Week 12
The Seltzr Guy Six-Pack for last week was pretty rough. Only was able to cash on one of the six bets; hoping that I can right the ship here! Thanks again for following along with my bets this season!
I will mention that it is unfortunate the Falcon’s season is “cooked.” With the Michael Penix Jr knee injury knocking him out for the seasons, I do belive that there is a very little chance that the team can turn the season around at this point. Kirk Cousins, or the ghost of him, will be starting for the remainder of 2025. Perhaps he plays out of his mind, but the small game sample against Miami a few weeks ago showed that he might not ever reach relevant QB play levels again.
Nonetheless, the playoff race is heating up! Let’s take a look at the Six-Pack for Week 12!
1) ML - Money line
Seattle couldn’t quite overcome the Rams as the underdog, but the game did end up pretty close. I think the Cardinals, as home underdogs, caused he upset against the Jaguars in Phoenix at +145. Brissett as been playing exceptionally well since taking over as the starter a few weeks ago. I think that they finally get a win in front of their home crowd!
2) O/U - Over / Under
My pick in this category for the week is Over 51.5 points in the Bengals and Patriots game on Sunday at -109 odds. Joe Burrow is rumored to be back in line to start; however, even if it is Joe Flacco again, I think this matchup will not have any issue reaching this total. Cincinnati has the worst defense against a powerhouse offense led by Drake Maye and newly unleashed Trevon Henderson. Take the over and enjoy the extra cash!
3) Point Spread
Call me crazy, but the Ravens are favored by 13.5 points against the NY Jets at -109 and I am all in on it. Lamar loves to put up stats against the AFC East, so I think that Baltimore will have an easy time covering this spread. It’s a home game as well. Time to get excited for this offense again as we approach the end of the season!
4) Receptions
Theo Johnson had zero targets heading into halftime of the Giants game last week, but he still nearly reached the 5+ catch mark had he been targeted more. I plan on sticking with the Tight Ends though with Tyler Warren getting 5+ catches against the Chiefs this coming Sunday at -132 odds. Not sure that the Chiefs can hold back Jonathan Taylor, but the game should be close allowing for a lot of passing opportunities for Daniel Jones to hit his favorite target a few times.
5) Anytime Touchdown Bet
Ceedee Lamb scored early on in the game on Monday, so I was happy to avoid going 0 for 6 on the Six-Pack last week. I expect the anytime TD train to keep rolling with Jalen Hurts running in a TD against this Swiss cheese Cowboys defense at -133 odds. I think that the Eagles will definitely get the ball inside the five yard line and get the tush push going early. This is a big divisional game where Philly will need to do whatever it takes to win.
6) Passing TDs
It was a very high scoring game last week when I predicted that Mayfield would throw for 2+ TDs. However, they ended up running in three touchdowns which was unexpected. I will be taking Josh Allen to throw for 2+ TD passes tonight on TNF against the Houston Texans. After coming off of 6 total TDs against Tampa Bay, I think that he doesn’t put too much wear and tear on his body and settles in attacking the zone defense with quick passes all night. Lock in 2+ TD passes for Josh Allen against the Texans at +103!
